1. Information We Collect

When you use Sacred Avatar, we collect:

• Birth date — used solely to calculate your numerology report.
• Email address and name — provided when you create an account.
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We never store your card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Generate your personalized Sacred Avatar report.
• Manage your account and provide access to purchased reports.
• Send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, password resets).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with encrypted connections (SSL/TLS). Passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt encryption. We retain your data as long as your account is active.

4. Cookies

We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Third-Party Services

• Stripe — payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy).
• Google Fonts — typography rendering.

6. Children's Privacy

Sacred Avatar is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

8. Canadian Privacy Law

Sacred Avatar handles personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and, for residents of Quebec, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector as amended by Law 25.

What we treat as personal information. Your name, your email address and your date of birth. Your date of birth is the input the entire service is built on, so we treat it with the same care as the rest.

Why we may hold it. To calculate and store your report, to let you sign back in and read it again, to process your payment, and to answer you when you write to us. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not sell it.

Consent. We collect this information only when you give it to us. You may withdraw your consent at any time by asking us to delete your account, subject to records we are required by law to keep for tax and accounting purposes.

How long we keep it. Your account and reports are kept while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days. Payment records are retained for the period required by Canadian tax law, currently six years, and contain no birth date.

Where it is stored. Your account data and reports are stored on our hosting provider’s servers. Interpretation texts are stored separately and contain no personal information. Payments are processed by Stripe, which may store data outside Canada; Stripe’s own privacy terms apply to that processing.

9. Your Rights

Whatever province you live in, you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• send you a copy of it in a portable format;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete your account and the personal information in it;
• withdraw a consent you previously gave.

Write to supportsacred@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days, as required by PIPEDA. There is no charge for a reasonable request.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or, if you live in Quebec, to the Commission d’accès à l’information.

10. Person Responsible for Privacy

Questions, access requests and complaints about personal information go to the person responsible for the protection of personal information at Sacred Avatar: supportsacred@gmail.com.

11. Breach Notification

If personal information under our control is lost or accessed without authorisation, and there is a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, and keep a record of the incident, as PIPEDA requires.

12. Automated Processing

Your report is generated automatically from your date of birth. It is a text produced by a set of rules; it is not a decision about you, and it is not used to profile you, to score you, or to target advertising at you.
